Transcend 8 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS8GSDHC6E

Add me to the list of purchasers who report using the card for a limited amount of time--in this case for about a month and perhaps five or six separate days of shooting video--and then having it fail. Would advise potential customers to choose a different manufacturer.

I pick up this 8G SD card for sale to accomplish my ZS7 camera. I have faith with Transcend, which I have another card two years ago. No problems so far. The only comment is the price is falling out of the race.

Well...what can I say? Card worked well for a few months when I first bought it in 2008 while I was abroad. When I tried to read pics from it in 2009, my laptop's card reader and Sandisk's external card reader couldn't read it. I even tried inserting it into my brother's desktop reader. No luck.

RMA'ed it with the lifetime warranty, spent a few $ shipping it to them, got a prompt response and RMA replacement. It's a few months later from that time and the card is unable to be read--again.


Seriously? I'd stick with a name-brand SD card from Sandisk.


You're hearing this from someone who rarely hands out 1-star reviews.

This 8GB card works great in our Panasonic Lumix ZS3 digital camera. Fast, large capacity for photos and videos. Works great in a USB card reader for SDHC cards -- super-fast transfer rates (as long as your card reader is fast as well, of course). You just have to make sure that when you insert the card, you don't inadvertently slide the little lever into the "lock" position. But that's easy if you're paying attention at all. A great card for a great price. Highly recommended.

I bought this card to use in a Canon T2i. This card works just like I expected it to. No complaints.
