Axion AXN-9702 7-Inch Widescreen LCD Digital Picture Frame with Clock, Calendar and Alarm

This is a decent product that does what it says it will do. It is not elaborate and doesn't have advanced features, but it can play music while viewing the slide show, and has a clock display. I was disapointed to find there was no "random" function, so I took away a star for that. When you turn it off, it goes back to slide one when you turn it back on again. Since I installed 600+ photos on a memory card for my mother, she rarely gets to see the photos at the end of the list. I will have to weed down the selection to a more reasonable 100 or 200. It's a nice looking simple plastic frame, and the remote works well (although I suspect the little watch battery won't last long). The resolution is intended to be viewed at arms length, not scrutinized up close. With this in mind, the resolution is fine.

This product was supposed to be given as a gift. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The resolution is really low, and pictures are not clear even after adjusting the brightness and contrast. The copy function doesn't seem to work - I tried copying pictures both from USB stick and SD card. It says copied, but when I remove the card, it doesn't display the picture. I wouldn't recommend this one.

the Axion-9702 7 inch LCD digital picture frame which I have had for 2 months is great except it did not come with a USB Cable. I like the features including the calendar, clock and revolving photos. I did buy additional memory for the unit. So far so good.

My wife bought me one of these digital frames (Westinghouse) at BB, for nearly $140. Now, compare that to this one, and I could've purchased 3 for the price of 1.

The software is not incredibly intuitive, but it's good, and I would recommend picking up a cheap 1GB card ($9), since the on board memory is very limited. Sound is good, nice control volume, and the pictures look very nice. If you get tired of looking at pictures, you can turn the frame into a clock.

The remote is compact, and it was a great price, so overall...great deal!

Was setting this up for my mom for Mother's day, and found it was missing the detachable kickstand that made the frame stand up. What a total waste of my time; now I have to go to local store and buy a new digital frame asap since this one was missing a part. Never again will I buy anything from Axion.
