Canon Pixma MP520 Photo All-On-One Inkjet Printer (2178B002)

I purchased this printer because it was listed in Consumer Reports as a good buy.
The Canon Pixma MP 520 All-in-one Inkjet printer is well designed. It produces great copies from the computer and scanner. I have not used it to print pictures yet, so cannot comment on that function. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a great product. It is very fast after the first few uses and it has good quality also. It scans, copies, and prints, and is very good with pictures. An all around really good product.

This is my 3rd Canon printer over the years and so far, this one has been a HUGE disappointment. Feed problems from the first alignment sheet passed through it. Both feeds jam and end up tearing the paper. The front feed doesn't print at all except for some smudges and ink smears, and the rear feed makes a loud squealing sound and jams right away.

I've sent an e-mail into Canon for support and have asked for an RMA with pre-paid shipping. We'll see how their support is...

Title pretty much sums it up. It is too large. And it does take a little while to load up after turning it on. Everything else works really well though. And the features are very nice.

Wonderful little printer! No problems hooking up to Vista. College daughter absolutely loves it, and was able to find very reasonably priced ink cartridges to fit it.
