Canon Pixma MP210 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer (2175B002)

We bought this in April '08 to replace our HP all-in-one that we'd had for about 3 years. (LOVED the HP PSC)

Set up was simple...a non-issue. I just followed the directions and that was that. (We have XP on this computer.)

We use this daily for printing. (I'm guessing 10 pages or so a day.)

About once or twice every couple days, it pulls a sheet of paper in crookedly and makes a real mess of things. It's unpredictable when this will happen. We try very hard to have the paper in the feed tray "just so" so that it won't jam. I could do without that nonsense. This kind of paper jamming is more frequent with this printer than with pretty much any other printer I've had. It doesn't matter how straight and carefully you've placed the paper, it still jams sometimes. It's a big pain. Even after you clear the jam, the computer doesn't realize it for a bit and you get the error messages.

What also bugs me every time is that, when you send a job to the printer, the printer makes its little sounds, gets itself ready, then goes silent. Pause. Then, it prints. I'm never sure it's going to do anything until it does it. I hate that.

Bottom line...it was cheap, it works okay, mostly. Do I love it? No, but it was cheap. It pretty much serves its purpose. If we had to do any more printing than we do, I'd get a different one (different brand completely).

Love it very easy to set up works great out of the box.
I still can believe that you can get all this for such a low price

The price was right. The order came promptly. Set-up was easy. All printer functions work perfectly. Now we'll see how long the cartridges supply ink before requiring replacement. This review was short and only thing left to say is that I highly recommend this product!

Super nice printer--very fast, or so it seems to me since I was using a printer that was 10 years old before it died.

I bought this MP210 printer brand new. It only lasted 5 months because the paper feeder broke and I kept getting an error saying the printer was out of paper. It is too cheap of a printer to pay to get it fixed. Time to buy a different printer.
