SanDisk 4 GB Extreme III SDHC Card (SDSDRX3-4096-A21, Retail Package)

excellent plug-in for copying from camera memory card to computer as I burned out my direct cord link; package also included a disk to search for lost photos on any card

I've been using this card/reader combo for a week now. I love it. 4GB is plenty for my camera (Panazonic TZ5 at 5MP I can get 1200 pics on it) and it writes and reads FAST. I rarely have to wait for a second picture, but I also don't do burst shooting. The reader is extremely compact, self-installs in XP without any fuss, and has been absolutely flawless.

Mine came with a little semicircular neoprene zip-sack (about 1.5" dia) with two clear plastic pockets inside, one for the reader and one for the card. Very nice for travel. I was at B&H photo in NYC today and their price was $32 so Amazon is right in there with the big guys. I have Prime and got it next day for $38 total. Awesome.

Follow-up: I realized after buying this item that the card reader built into my PC is not compatible with the HC high capacity SD cards and does not recognize them. I thought I was going to use this USB adaptor for travel only but now I've found it's essential at home too!

Ordered this one day, regular shipping and received it the next, incredible. Disk is great and card reader an added bonus.

I have brought the extreme 3 sd card 2gb card for a much higher price than this 4gb card in the past. both perform great most of the time. I have one in my navigon gps and when left in a hot car the card becomes unreadable to the gps unit until the card cools down a bit. (its the card and not the gps because the default gps card did not have this problem)

I also use another extreme 3 for my camera, the speed on the write is more than enough for continuous shooting in raw+ jpg for me, and its fast for video also.

get this card you wont regret it, also make sure you can use sdhc type cards in your gadget first!

The card as worked pretty well for me, I haven't run any speed tests, but I'm able load programs off of it, with no lag on my EEE PC 900, which is what I bought it for.
