SVAT WRC101 Wireless Outdoor Remote Control Power Outlet

I bought 2 but one was defective and returned for credit. Both remotes triggered the good unit so I assume both are the same frequency.

I was skeptical at first because i didn't see any reviews concerning obstructions such as walls and doors. This device works well through walls and doors. From the bottom floor i am able to turn on/off my internet equipment upstairs, with door closed.
NOTE: sometimes the remote came with the cover screw twisted too tight, causing the remote not to work. just loosen the screw a little and it will work just fine. I want to say that because someone complains about remote didn't work. Overall, IT'S GREAT.

I really enjoy my Wireless Outdoor Remote. I have it hooked up to my paper lantern light strings hung around my screened in porch. I no longer have to get a stool to plug them in every night. The remote even works from inside the house and I don't have to be in sight of the outlet! Lots of fun! The reason I only gave it four stars instead of five is because it would work better for me if the power outlet did not have a cord. If it was just a box that plugged into the outlet, then I could plug my lights into the box. As it is, I have to rest the box (at the end of the short cord) on top of my outdoor speaker.

Awesome product. This was very easy to install and it works great. I have it running my waterfall and the electrical box is back behind the waterfall. It works from inside my house and makes it very convenient to turn it on and off. I just wish I could use one remote for 3 units so I could also hook it up to my lights in and around the waterfall.

I needed a way to control the 7 amp heater in our new jetted tub. This 10 amp switch has done a great job so far.
