Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras

Simply put...worth it! The IS is needed for those just in case moments and prevention is far better than I wish I would have. My first shoot was an engagement session and the lens delivered brilliantly. With the correct settings it does an amazing job at blurring the foreground and background and focussing your subject(s).

There simply is no better zoom lens for Canon Bodies than the 70-200mm f/2.8L Everyone that has them loves them and everyone who doesn't wishes they did. Any Camera is only as good as the Glass in front of it. The best thing about this lens that I didn't know when I bought my first one was that it does not extend or rotate at all while it is zooming or focusing. It's always the same. This Lens may be the only thing i have every bought that I had no regrets about whatsoever. Usually there is a little guilt.

All the reviews are true. If you can afford it, buy it. It's very heavy but it's also the best all around lens there is in the Canon line.
