Solid Camera, great resolution and IR range, but some minor flaws!
I bought this camera to use for my home security system, to monitor my front porch and yard. I tied it into my cable system using (an additional TV modulator) and now can easily view my front porch and yard by switching to channel 99 on any TV in my home. The camera comes retail packaged with everything included, Power Supply, Video Cabling, and even a BNC to RCA adapter. The camera is actually a Grey color not black as in the picture on Amazon. Instructions are brief and missing some info. You have to loosen a very tiny hex head (hex head wrench included) screw on the bases perimeter, then carefully unscrew the base plate. Threads on the mounting plate and the locking hex screw can be easily cross-threaded so be careful! Zoom and focus screws are located on the exterior of the unit in the front and can be easily accessed with a small screwdriver. Remember this is a Vari-Focal Lens, which can be confusing when you try to zoom! When you zoom in or out the focus totally changes so you have to adjust both screws to get a clear wide or zoomed in picture. I wish the lens had a little more wide angle view, a 3.6mm fixed lens would cover a little more area but the 4mm is fine and covers about a 70 degree angle of view. The resolution is fantastic for a security camera and rivals some of my older camcorders! The low light capability is fantastic and the IR LEDS kick in automatically in the dark and you can easily see out to 50' into the pitch black evening! Of course when using the IR mode the picture changes to an eerie B&W look. But details are still clearly visible! I am very pleased with the build of the camera once it is mounted it is waterproof and is IP67 approved so it can literally be dunked into water and survive. Camera looks foreboding once installed on my porch! No one is going mess around with this baby watching! Tempted to buy another one for my back yard!

Good Camera - Be Careful w/ Install
The only problem I had was with the camera housing. The treads got crossed (they are tiny) and I could not get off or on tightly.

Put camera up anyway and it works great.
