Excellent U/W Housing for the best RAW Point-n-Shoot G9 Camera
This is a great u/w housing for the Canon G9. Camera fits perfectly inside and ALL controls are accessible via all the buttons and knobs. I took it snorkeling trip just recently and got great results. Please make sure you read the manual (in case with all Canon products) and you will get all your questions answered. I was able to perform every function through the housing, manual exposure, manual focus, etc. I only shoot in RAW and this was a great option instead of a more expensive housing for my DSLRs. The flash plate is a bit awkward but it does the job. You can also shoot some video. If you have a G9, you know that it's a great P/S camera and this housing is an excellent addition to your gear if you like to get wet. 2008-09-22

Keeps my G9 dry
Work's well under water, but it would be nice if it had a way to control the wheel on the back of the camera. 2008-09-08

Great Product
I bought this housing to take on a trip to the Bahamas where we would be snorkeling and swimming with dolphins every day. The housing worked great. It was easy to assemble and the directions were straightforward and clear. I had no problems with the housing leaking, which was my main concern. The hardest part was taking the pictures underwater! I wasn't really used to looking at the back of the camera underwater and it was hard to see what I was doing. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase of the housing and less impressed with the quality of the images I have overall. Time to upgrade the camera. 2008-09-08

underwater housing for canon G9 digital camera
This is a wonderful product. It was easy to understand the instructions. easy to get the camera in an out of the housing and best of all I felt very comfortable with my new camera on the beach with all the sand and saltwater. I have yet to dive with it, but am looking forward to taking the camera worry-free underwater. 2008-08-20

Expensive, but well-made, and it works!
Expensive for a limited-purpose device, but I get shots no one else can. I don't dive, but I take my camera in my kayak, where it always gets soaked. It may be overkill for this purpose, but it serves as very solid protection banging around in the boat. It's always ready for a shot without having to pull it out of a case and put it back. All of the controls are accessible except the control dial, but there is a two-button shortcut which bypasses the dial. 2008-07-27
