sorry i bought it
Always have had a cannon and was excited to get this one. Was a mistake as my old canon power shot took a much better picture. I also gave it away and can't get it back now I am stuck with this one.

could do better
When downloaded to the computer the pictures look nice. When the pictures are printed they are not sharp. I print better pictures with my kodak easyshare camera I bought almost 5 years ago

Best camera in its class
First of all, this is the first review I've written for any product. I thought that this camera is so great that I needed to write this.

I did a lot of research before buying this camera. Read about 25 reviews about this camera and the competitors. This is by far the best camera in its class. I was very close to get the Lumix with 10x optical zoom, but I am glad I didn't. The 3 inch LCD screen is gorgeous. It works perfectly fine with little light and with direct sun light as well. I don't miss the optical viewfinder at all. I've tried the Canon PowerShot SD850 IS and the ViewFinder is useless, that is why I decided for this one.

Regarding the quality of the pictures, it is amazingly good. Even in indoor, low-light situations, you don't get blurred images, just with a little noise, that is expected.

I don't usually use a point-and-shoot camera to take videos, but I tried the video in this PowerShow and it is amazing. I have a Samsung Camcorder and I am planning on selling it and get a bigger memory card for my Canon Powershot!

Overall, this is a great camera. All you need and much more in a point-and-shoot. 100% recommended.

Not perfect, but still a great little camera
Picked this camera after reading tons of reviews. Main criteria, though, was the large, clear LCD screen.

There are lots of setting you can tweak on this, but the main ones I use are the ISO settings. Although this camera has anti-blur, I find that you still need to set the ISO higher manually in many instances to get the best results - that is, without using the flash, which I hate (in all cameras of this type). I wish Canon had done a better job of that.

Once you've got the setting you want, it takes great pictures. The menus and settings are easy enough to use (if you know what they all mean). Note that you cannot use the zoom while in video mode.

Candid Camera
This camera has not taken a poor picture yet, and will not fail in times of capture.
