Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 [OLD VERSION]

Happy with the software, but it takes a while to learn how to use it.

I ordered this product & quickly cancelled my order after trying the free trial download. Which, by the way.... for any software, I reccomend to all, to do try and find a free download trial to try, BEFORE you buy! ;)

The user interface of this software is dark grey..... VERY depressing.
I HATE it!! My creativeness hides amongst such darkness! ;)

Also, I am one who has self-taught myself about every thing, successfully, & fairly easily. I'd used the Adobe Photo Deluxe 2.0 for years, until our PC needed replaced, & it became obsolete for us to use at all. ;( Photo Deluxe 2.0 was soooo easy to use, and to get around.... no instructions needed. It was bright & cheery.

I worked at getting to know the Photo Elements 6 for several weeks, and it was so frustrating. I started to get a hang of some things... but overall, I still hated it. ;(

I now recommend Photo Impact Pro 13. It has won TONS of awards for user-friendliness!!

I was thrilled to get it finally. Always wanted a PhotoShop program.
Seemed hard so I bought the Dummies Book.
My youngest son came over and showed me a few tricks. Now I enjoy it a lot more.

Somehow missed the fact that we were buying the "Old Version". Did not realize that fact until the product arrived. Looks like Adobe is using the internet to unload unsold outdated inventory. Note that Garmin is doing the same thing with some of its GPS products. So far have been unable to upload the Photoshop program into my wifes new laptop with Vista. So, at this point unable to rate.

Excellent program. Easier to operate than the full blown Photoshop program. Would have preferred a hard copy version of the user manual.
